After scratching my head for a 30 seconds I got in on the passenger side and adjusted the ride height on the pilot panel so I could open the driver's door.

Still, weird things like this keep happening. Ride height adjusts due to load and the door can't be closed because manual adjustment can't be performed with the door open. However... this happened. Adjustable ride height is great, but something is just badly designed here.... we've never had this issue with our X.
 
Wouldn't it be safer to just turn off easy entry ride height adjustments for those who run into this issue? I have mine set to highest so it never hits anything...
 
I agree that disabling the ride height adjustment when the door opens is lame...how are you suppose to get it unstuck?

I too set my easy entry to "highest" so it won't hit curbs but it sure takes a while to raise up. Most of the time my passengers are already getting out of the car and if the door hits the curb you can't make it rise up; they have to slither out to upweight the car enough to close the door and then it will raise up!...Poor design!!

BofA better not crawl down there to check for door scrapes upon lease return! (although I did confirm the Quantum Grey touch up paint for Air is the same color for Gravity)
 
I had the same issue last week when the grand kids were visiting. I would get them out of there car seat but when I would come back the car adjusted to "Low" and I could not open the door as it was catching the curb. I had to get in driver seat with infant in my hand turn the car and adjust the ride height to "High" and wait for it to adjust and then get out and put the kid in his car seat and get back to driver seat before the car would lower itself again because the car was still parked. Very POOR design.
Does anyone has a solution for this issue. I have taken the Ride Height Adjustment off "Auto" but when I come back it is on Auto again. Any help is appreciated.

You can adjust the ride height in the app. The function didn't use to work so well, but it's pretty reliable now. The other option is to turn off the easy exit ride height adjustment, so the car does not go into low when you get out.

I ended up doing the same. And I force all passengers to not get out until the suspension finishes rising. People love me 😂

I keep “Auto” ride height adjustment on but “Easy Entry” off. The height is on “normal” by the time I park, which is ok for most places.

The few times I’ve needed higher, I manually adjust ride height before getting out and it stays there for reentry. I’ve learned to watch out for terrain/curb when parallel parking, which isn’t often.
 
I left auto ride height on, so it will adjust for driving, but turned the easy entry parking height off. Lowest causes me to scrape doors on curbs a couple of times. Highest just looks odd and makes it harder to climb in and out of. When you turn it off the parking height remains at Standard, which seems to work best.

Easy entry should not go to "lowest" doesnt it?

I understand that it is more difficult, depending on your height obviously. However "looks odd"?! I guess better to have it higher than broken/scatched doors?!
