The state's new $135M EV incentive program has a $50k cap, but waives it entirely for CA-headquartered brands.

That means the Lucid Air, Gravity, and even Rivian's lineup qualify for the discount despite their premium price tags.

It’s probably for the best they left out the income limits. If they actually capped it at the standard $75,000, the eligibility pool would just be a ghost town.

Yeah not a fan of income limits, although it won't help the perception that EVs are for rich, but they should just not have a cap for MSRP, all we have seen is games played by OEMs and pricing to get cars around that number. Just make it simple and give 10% off all EVs and some extra % for CA if they want to help out their smaller local companies (I assume Aptera and Telo as well)
