It pops up all the time. When I tap it, it brings up the Homelink screen, but there is another icon for that. I can't find it in the Air manual.

I believe this is lucid voice assistant, if you disable hey lucid it will also display crossed mic inside
 
Could be. I wonder why tapping it brings up Homelink. Curious software design. Thanks.

I wouldn't worry about it, doesn't do much anyway 😂 (although it can tell you a joke if you ask politely)

Aren’t they changing it though? It was Alexa and then Lucid Assistant it they said they were making it something else now.

That's the voice assistant icon. It shows up when the mic is listening. If you tap it, it opens Homelink but that's just where it lives. Weird design choice.
