2025 Lucid Air Tour
Hey everyone, I'm new here. I'm going to be buying my first lucid bi September. I've had an EV since 2013 and I'm excited about getting a lucid. It seems like 2025 was a big model here and it reflects it in the price difference. This is going to be a long-term car for me. I feel like 2025 years a year I should get it has a big improvements on it and some things that really make a difference to me like tightening up the frame a bit just stuff that they did it would kinda make it last longer in my mind. What do you guys think?
 
IMO, chassis are all the same.

Since late 2024 Air front motor has new mount which makes it abit quieter and computer is faster thats upgradable for all years model.

I have GT for the seat option, otherwise was considering Touring.
 
The biggest difference is range. Do you want the range of the Grand Touring or the lower cost of the Touring?
 
25 also get a heat pump and are more efficient in the cold weather. Touring has more backseat leg room without the batteries back there if you are going to have passengers often.
 
I'd get a 2025 because it has a quieter front motor and heat pump.
The Grand Touring has more range and power. The Touring feels lighter in a good way.
 
Also for what it's worth unless the prior owner already paid for the upgrade, 2025 model years and newer come with a version 2 chip that makes the UI inside the car more responsive/less laggy and will bee needed for the upcoming UX 3.0 for the Air sometime into the fall. The upgrade is about 1k if you end up going with the 2024 car.
