Thinking about buying a used Air, how can I tell how the previous owner charged it?

I wouldn’t worry about it. I’ve had multiple EVs and tried different ways to protect the battery, and also tried doing absolutely nothing. They all had the same mild degradation and worked well.
 
I honestly wouldn't worry about it. I have 117,000 miles and have no issue with getting rated range. Cest la Vie!
my '23 Air pure AWD has been flawless at 84k miles, I've only added two tires at 25k and two more recently. floor mats, seat covers and cabin filters aside, what things shall I expect to replace, improve or repair in the next 100k of interstate use?
 
I think I charged my 2022 AGT a total of about five times at EA over the 3.5 years I owned it. 99% of charging was L2 at home.
Care to share your battery health stat? Rogue said he's at 6% after some pretty hard use, I'd be curious to see the difference against a duty cycle like yours.

Maybe just an upgrade to the CCC V2?

94% of original battery health at 49k miles over 2.5 years (eg. 6% degradation). My guess is time has a far greater impact until you hit the 8% degradation mark where most of the cars are flattening out to.

The website doesn't have a graph for time, but the wide spread would likely tighten up into a smoother curve, independent of mileage.

Is the degradation reflected in your rated range? What is your current rated range divided by SOC (and what size tires)?

I don't charge to 100% hardly ever, so I couldn't tell you.

I'm running GT-P 21s without the wheel covers and missing rubber wheel diffusers. More often than not, the car is loaded down with four people and luggage since we are digital nomads.

There's enough range that I don't ever have to worry about it. Any degradation is not noticeable for trips.

What number do you get when you divide the rated range by the current state of charge?

For example, my Gravity’s rated range when new is 420 miles. Today’s calculation for 313 miles (rated) at 74% state of charge gives:

313 / 0.74 = 420 (rounded to two significant digits, as SOC only has two).​

The number match, but my Gravity is only 6 months old and I’ve taken care of my battery, so I expect almost zero degradation. I’m wondering if this calculation will show degradation for the older Airs without having to go through Lucid or the unofficial Lucid API and tracking site.
 
6% degradation over 50k miles is fantastic. Just as a reference, my Model S Plaid with 60k miles has degraded about 16%. 😮

Thanks for the info, and I appreciate you taking the time to validate the results! It gives everyone a quick in-car way to calculate battery health, whether it’s their own car or a Lucid they are planning on purchasing.

BTW, I’m not the OP/buyer, but was interested in the answer 😄.
 
My 2 year old Pure is at 93% SOH with just under 20k miles. DCFC a handful of times, 80% of the time between 80% and 20% SOC. Debating on another lease or buying used when mines up in a year, I’ll be using one of the API services to check SOH on a used car.
