After 18 months, I finally have a service issue that needs to be addressed. Like most other service centers, Natick was very backed up for appointments, six weeks out. Unlike some other centers, I received a call from them a week after scheduling (I was planning to call that day if I hadn’t heard back) to discuss my issue, which I gather is unusual. I had wondered if they could have a mobile service guy come by to assess the situation prior to the appointment or possibly do an easy fix, but it turns out that their mobile appointments were scheduling equally far out – the first available was on the day I’m already scheduled to go in.

On the bright side, Natick is generally still able to start working on cars the day they come in, or at least within a couple days. He also said that they have a good inventory of parts, and aim to order things ahead for jobs that may need them—and he guaranteed me a loaner rather than a rental (that alone kind of thrills me after all the rental tales here). The plan as we left it is for me to linger there for a few hours that day, to be sure they can’t do an easy fix, but then to send me off with the loaner if they’ll need to keep it for bit. I live a couple hours north of Natick.

All in all, this seems pretty solid under current conditions! I’m confident that the Service rep will be available by phone and text as needed, and it sounds like they’ll be able to tackle the job in a timely manner once it’s there (end of July).

(The issue is one he hadn’t heard of before: HVAC not cooling at all when car is stationary—precooling or climate Hold when parked circulate air at outdoor ambient temps—and effectiveness in motion seems speed-related. Maybe an intake or circulation fan in the heat pump failed? Or best case, an internal fuse?)

Thank you for sharing your experience. Our Natick team is solid!

That mirrors my experience there as well. Marcello and the team there have been great.

Still waiting on Lucid corporate to approve a warranty repair and ship a part, but in Natick they’re doing the best they can and really seem to care.

Couldn’t agree more. I have worked with both Steve and Marcello and they are both great to work with. I told them both that in person; glad to share it here, too. Will be seeing them on Jul 8th for the seat recall in my stellar white touring and I have no doubt everything will be fine when I leave.

Agreed. The Natick team has been great to me. What’s unfortunate is just how many times I’ve had to go there, though. Marcello feels like an old friend now, we’ve talked so much

This, 100%. I just scheduled the 1 year checkup for my AGT, and the Natick folks were super responsive. I made the appt via the app, and got a call the next day to discuss the details. Then I discovered some damage to the rear diffuser, and called Natick to discuss. They got back to me and the whole thing is being handled. Super happy. FWIW, my sales experience with Natick was outstanding as well.
