v2.12 Broke App (Android)

Interesting. Please let us know if my 'fix' works for you. BTW, I just added to my post that this happened with my Air Pure AWD. Not a Gravity.
Edited for gravity. My solution was to close the frunk from the car and eventually it recognized in the app. If I have further issues will report back on your solution.

My car was stuck waking up and communication was not working. I restarted my phone and did a logo reset on the car. Then i connected to the car through bluetooth. The issue resolved after that. This happened right after updating the app version in Android a few days. I'm not which of these things resolved it, but it has not happened again. I was recently bragging about not seeing software issues, so it well deserved. Anyway, give that a try. Phone is a Samsung galaxy fold 6.

I got stuck with an odd Android app thing on my Air Pure AWD wherein the app thought my trunk was open when it was not, but it would not respond when I would hit the trunk open/close icon. The good news was that everything worked fine in the car. The app remained messed up even after deleting both of the vehicle's Bluetooth connections, relinking the app, reconnecting the phone and doing a logo reset. What did ultimately work was holding down the Lucid app icon, pressing the app info button, doing a Force Stop, and then restarting the app. Try that first if you get stuck in a fashion similar to what happened to me. It's quick, and low risk.
Yep same here... I figured it out and was really irritated that this has to be the way...who are designing their apps? Interns?

Are you on WiFi now? That's what I noticed.

Also I did try force closing/opening when the vehicle was offline at work, and it didn't make a difference. So that might be a separate bug than the not refreshing one.
I don't remember if I was or not at the time it was happening. But, once I got to the shop where the car was, it was fine. I was attributing the offline message to the car not having a signal in that guys garage. (It was not in service mode)

I started having a new problem this morning. The app looked like it was working fine, mobile key worked for unlocking and driving, but none of the app features that I tried worked. I continuously got a "That didn't work. Try again." message whenever I pushed any of the climate controls in the app. It also wouldn't let me click the preconditioning button in the app. It was greyed out saying "Preconditioning is unavailable". But, I just tried your trick above @Buffalo Bob. And that seems to have fixed it. Thanks!

Glad it worked. I just had to force stop again because the app would not even try to wake the car. Funny, as when you hit force stop, Google warns you that doing so may cause your app to misbehave, when in our case, it forces the app to finally behave...at least for a while.

Same issues here: The only thing that works: I have to clear the cache every time (not the data, otherwise you have to log on again). Just the app's cache I have to clear.

Arrived at an appointment about 30 minutes ago. The app thinks I'm still driving. Moreover, the speed, map and SOC confirms that it got stuck just as soon as the car started to move about an hour ago.

Well, these statements make me understand why my car has been "offline"" for the last three days and tire pressures reported are updated three days ago. Sucks to walk out after work to a cold car in this weather when it should be cozy and welcoming. Sounds silly but besides the instant torque, one of the things i have appreciated most with the last two EVs is coming into a preconditioned car - regardless of whether it is in a garage or not

Does anyone know of an easy way to revert to the prior version of the Lucid app? I regret downloading this.

You'd have to uninstall and then grab a previous version from a site like APKmirror, and then not update it

I am having this exact issue, how were you able to resolve yours?

I wish I could recall for sure. I think the problems just went away after a few 'force stops' of the app, or possibly an update to either the vehicle or the app itself. I know it did not go on for more than a few days.
