Middle East summer is no joke, 40C+ up to 50C.

Dubai - Abu Dhabi commute is popular, many who work in Abu Dhabi commutes from Dubai for whatever reason.
The sector is around 200~250km return, many other brand are suffering.

My Air GT has enough range to do the commute 3 times with AC cranking where as Tesla is finding 1 round trip difficult and needing to always charge to full, I see a lot of them tailgating dangerously close just to save battery.

The efficiency is so impressive!

I drove out to visit my folks yesterday but forgot to charge the night before. Could have stopped at a public charger but I had time to kill so I hopped on the back roads and decided to see how much I could squeeze out of the battery. Surprised myself with an average of 5.87 mi/kWh over the first 65 miles!

Must be a Pure, it is an amazing vehicle. I did 8.5km/kwh on highway as well on Pure loaner.
 
Compared to normal drive: Flat roads? Avg Speed? More stop signs or less?

Twisties with moderate elevation change, speeds from 25 up to 55, probably average 35. Maybe 10-15 traffic lights, got lucky with very light traffic.

For those familiar with southeast PA, rt. 462 from York, to rt. 741, then rt. 30 until rt. 202 north. I stopped bothering/measuring once I got to 202 and still had plenty of charge left.
