Marc Winteroff out

This is nonsense. You are literally just making this up and it is untrue.

Thanks for your detailed and incorrect analysis. :p

That’ll save us all.
What did you say to me??

“Drink your jar of m&m’s while you shove that cheese sandwich in your ear and I told you not to touch that radioactive soccer ball with your hand now look at it it’s bigger than LeBron”
Looks AI generated.

That kid likes it cold in the second row!

IMO Peter's "departure" was a due to an inability to execute operationally, which was Winteroff's full time job. Peter's was innovative and established & drove a corporate culture of innovation and excellence.

When Winteroff was named interim CEO, that was his opportunity, and second chance quite honestly, to get the operational house in order. Instead, he galavanted around, for 15 months pretending to be a CEO and failed miserably in taking the Gravity launch to what we all expected. Expanding intohorizontal markets, and focusing on the roadmap of self driving, and level 4, completely disregarding getting the most basic fundamentals right.

Meanwhile, Gravity owners couldn't (can't?) even get their doors open. Mark screwed up the Gravity launch and turned a brand name of exceeding excellence, to highly negative sentiment impacting the larger mass market of potential Gravity buyers. He cut Service at exactly the worst time, clueless to the operational needs of the company and customers as well.

The board should've kept Peter and discarded Winteroff 18 months ago (or longer). Instead, Peter, the visionary and corporate culture leader is gone, the Gravity launch was a bust, and we have a new CEO who is (and had been hired to) gut the culture of the company. It will take him 1+ years to reshape it as a distraction to getting operations in order. He has correctly released Winteroff who on my mind bears responsibility for the flailing operations of the firm and had cost the firm 18 months of distractions.

So here we are... Lucid is no longer the Lucid I knew and bought from in 2022. Lucid is being transformed into a different car company because it has to be, because we never had a competent COO. Lots of great people are being laid off as a consequence and the culture is being dismantled.

The board should've kept Peter and gotten a real COO a long time ago.

Peter is an engineer, he played his part. Culture hasn’t gone anywhere. Lucid still known for Space, efficiency , performance. Marc had to go.

Right now Lucid needs to cut costs, improve service, continue to work on software. That’s it!

It was a bloated organization due to Saudi money tap.

This is some interesting background for me on MW decisions. Did not realize he was in that acting role for so long.

Give it a little bit. This might also be its bottom given that these guys are basically out of business now. No word on a 27 Air (their biggest seller), Gravity sold so bad they’re cutting builds down- does this look like a company that’s gonna launch a new affordable midsize anytime soon, if ever? No. This is probably as low as it’s going to get before it goes private or bankrupt.

They need to dump their Robo Taxi nonsense and get into the spaceship business apparently.
I wouldn’t be surprised if Lucid drags you on another year or two with your arbitration.

And Saudi won’t take it private. They wouldn’t have hired Napoli to get the house in order.

Air is not what they need to concentrate on, it’s the midsize and spending cuts.

Turns out those don’t really sell cars as well as reliability. Maybe the COO was the problem all along. Their operations are certainly in shambles.
They sold more Airs than any other sedan in that class in the US.

They are on their way for the Gravity to be the best selling 3 row EV SUV.

I wouldn’t say sales are abysmal.

Based off the busy delivery schedule when I picked mine up, I would agree with you. I’m hopeful for a really good quarter.

Sources on them being in shambles?
OK, OK. Don't know if you are trying to rein in @socktucker or actually think opinion needs to be based on a independent source, however he has certainly had a horrible ownership experience and is entitled to his opinion. No offense meant. ☺️
