I received a push notification about 15 minutes ago about a fob update for my Air. It said that I needed the fob near my phone and more than 50 feet from the car, and that It would create a direct connection to the fob and update the software. I attempted to do this, but I got an error three times saying the app was unable to download the update. I exited and now the update isn’t showing anywhere in the app. Anyone else get this and were you successful? I thought only the Gravity fob was capable of software updates.

I received the sane message, see the attached. I will try my luck and report back.

Key fob still works-even on approach, no pressing needed.
 
I received an update notification for my Gravity's fob about the same time you received yours. I tried to update the fob and it was already up to date.
I think there must have been a glitch on Lucid's side which pushed a spurious fob update notification.
 
Same here. I hate to pile on but seems like a sad lack of QA.
 
I got the same notification but when I clicked on it, it took me to the app page saying my CAR software was up to date. By then, the notification was gone. So I'm of the opinion someone at Lucid screwed up and sent it was sent in error, too.

Is a spurious update better than a problematic update? Youbetcha!

Same, 2025 Pure haven't had any updates for the FOB in the year of ownership so far.
 
All you trusting people
First thing I think of is someone using your phone to push a hack into the phone or ultimately the car.
