I have been watching my phone battery over the past few months and Lucid remains one of the primary consumers of my battery. I woke up 2 hours ago, which means the app has just been grinding my battery while I sleep. There has to be something Lucid can do to optimize whatever background tasks they are running. I am debating ditching mobile key entirely and just disabling location polling to see if it helps because the lucid app uses more power in the background then me scrolling for an hour.

Disable location services. Mobile key will still work. Overall I’ve dealt with this issue a lot too, and have just fully given up on mobile key. The feature worked great on my Tesla. Rivian, and BMW, but lucid just cannot figure it out

Been this way for me for awhile (iPhone 15 Pro Max). I force close the app if I’m not using it

Sad, but true!

Mobile key still works even though the app tells me mobile key is disabled when I disable location services?

Mine does this too. Especially if I am, or have been, anywhere near the car. I’ve also taken to force closing it when not using it.

Crossing my fingers with AI tools they’ll get these and other coding issues sorted. Can’t have software defined vehicles and fumble the software.

I think we are experiencing their new jam.
