So much this. What's even the point of versioning your software if you're just going to have different code in the wild with the same version number? Even the slightest change (to a production release) needs a version bump. That's just software 101.

Call came from 888-995-8243 and I can send a photo of my car asking me to update even though I’m already on 3.6.0

If Lucid called I'd guess it was a problem with the first install and not a new version but a re-push of the same update to reinstall.

yeah that makes sense but agreed the same version number plus a phone call regarding the update is odd. I was part of the group that got it early by leaving their VIN number here so perhaps the earliest adopters got an unfinished update.

That makes a lot more sense
 
The update took only 8 minutes to install even though it had a 3 hour estimate so it does seem like it was a patch.

No I meant I can post a photo of the update alert from my car here if anyone was curious. Sorry typing in between doing other things so should have been a bit more clear.
 
As elementary and asinine as it seems, they did the exact same thing with the Air, releasing 2.9.2 with a bug that bricked some cars, then the patch to fix it was also 2.9.2.

I think Lucid has established that they are not a software company, and probably have very little interest in being a SemVer Purist. But check out my update :)

Similar experience, took about 10 minutes. Didn't have to re verify identity, dream drive showing calibrated. I have a loaded GT.
