New Lucid Air Delivered Today

Just an update in case anyone else runs into this, but Lucid Financial Services said they couldn't help, they just referred me to customer care. I spoke to someone from their national customer care and he said he is going to check with the location where I took delivery. I am thinking I should have just started there, but TBD.

I would definitely contact the studio where you took delivery and even loop in your SA too. That’s what I had to do after nearly 3 months of patiently waiting. Might take a few calls, but in the end found them to be very responsive. They had the person who scheduled my delivery reach out to me and he is the one who confirmed by text that my plates/registration would be overnighted to me. I’m in TX and all of this was done days before my 3 months temp tags expired.

So just an update, I did finally receive my license plate and registration yesterday, so that was nice. I saw that the package with the plates and registration came from Colorado, which may explain why it takes so long. They would have had to register the car in NJ, NJ would have to send the plates and registration out to them in Colorado, and then they would have to send it to me.

And just for the heck of it, here is a pic of my Lucid along with my weekend toy after both got a wash during the weekend:

What are your plans for NJ winter? Having gone through two of them I’d recommend switching to all season 19s or get a separate winter set.

On my prior cars I had a separate set of wheels/tires for winter. I spent a couple years/winters in Montreal, which quickly taught me the value of dedicated winter tires. I haven't purchased them yet, but I plan to get a set of the lucid 19 inch wheels with winter tires. I could probably get by with all-seasons, but since I already have dedicated summer tires I figured why not have dedicated winter tires as well.
