Any Iowa owners here?

Hey, just wondering if any of you are from (or know any fellow owners) from Iowa? When taking delivery in January, our (Chicago based) DA said she's helped several Iowa owners. We've lived in the two largest, highest income areas of the state and haven't seen any but there must be some somewhere lol.

Hi Cody21, I hope you have connected with fellow Iowa Lucid owners. I have seen one or two Lucid's passing through on I-35. I live in Ames. I am organizing an EV display for National Drive Electric Week. It will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2024, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. as part of the Ames EcoFair. Would you like to bring your Lucid to this event, please?

We are current Tesla Model S owners and looking at the Air Touring. The thing is, my wife needs to sit in one to ensure it fits her (she’s short and I’m tall). Any Iowa owners open to showing us your ride before we have to make a trip to Chicago just to see if the car would work for us?

Where do you live? Also, my wife is 5'3" and I'm 6'3" and we both fit without issues

Thanks for the reply @codys21. It sounds like we face similar height differences with our spouses. This is always something we weigh when we shop for a vehicle. Recently, we found the Caddilac Lyriq put my wife in a position where her view of the dashboard was obstructed by the steering wheel, and her legs were not comfortable due to the depth of the seat. This is why it's so important for us to sit in one. We are not oppposed to a trip to Chicago for a test drive, but it would be great if we could find a car closer to our home to rule it in or out first. We live in Polk City, near Des Moines. Would you be opposed to letting us see and sit in your car? We would also love to hear more about your ownership experience. We were a rather new adopter of the Tesla many years back, so we are not afraid of supporting new tech but we would love to hear more firsthand.
