    Frunk/trunk bot responding issue

Ran into a weird one today. ‘25 Air Touring. Was packing for a trip and had the frunk and trunk open for about 20 minutes. When I went to close them, they wouldn’t close- via the app, touch screen or physical buttons. Rebooted the software (upgraded to 2.7 a few days ago) via the Air logo long...

Trying to Decide: Differences Between Touring and Pure and 2025 model questions

Ah, ok. Bummer, but not the end of the world. I’ve been using my apple watch instead- have a shortcut to the app on my watch face. Actually, I wonder if I can make shortcuts for direct frunk/trunk actions.

Minor suggestions for a car I’m loving so far

Yeah, I’m all for making that type of behavior configurable. From what I can tell, the Nav tool doesnt really have any options yet. Just throwing my suggestions out there- like I said overall I’m very happy with the car.

Minor suggestions for a car I’m loving so far

Interesting, so when the volume is cranked up, it keeps playing (but quietly) during Nav announcements? That would be surprising- but good!

Minor suggestions for a car I’m loving so far

Gotcha. Honestly, pause is almost worse if you’re playing music. I’d much prefer a volume reduction over pause/mute. I don’t think the Spotify issue is a cell issue. CMIIW- despite being known as a satellite based service, I believe Sirius also uses cell (and Sirius works). Also, the Spotify...

Trying to Decide: Differences Between Touring and Pure and 2025 model questions

I agree, I’m not a fan at all of the one button, morse code (😀) fob. Tesla 3 button fob (frunk/locks/trunk) with icons on the cover much more intuitive.

Minor suggestions for a car I’m loving so far

Note: I have not been using Carplay (not a fan). I prefer using the integrated software. - Navigation: I use the “3D” view which I think is basically the default view for most Nav apps. One thing I noticed yesterday that had me a bit befuddled: buildings and bridges were being overlaid on top...

Trying to Decide: Differences Between Touring and Pure and 2025 model questions

I picked up a 2025 AT a few weeks ago. While I have noticed that the UI is a bit cumbersome (as compared to my old Tesla model S) I haven’t experienced any of the really annoying issues I read about on reddit before buying. So dar I have only experienced the “unlock delay” issue once- other than...

Yet another thread wishing to have separate items on each screen

Gotcha, thanks. Yeah, it looks like they resolved this in 3.0- hopefully it will be possible to upgrade Airs to 3.0 as well.

Yet another thread wishing to have separate items on each screen

I watched this video on the new Gravity UI. It looks like in the new UI you can keep Nav active on the top screen and use the pilot screen below to control the media. Thats good. Hopefully when a phone call comes in the top screen doesnt switch away from Nav. Keep that screen locked in Nav...

Yet another thread wishing to have separate items on each screen

Before posting I looked for similar threads. I’d love for this to be a common complaint. Can you point out some posts where people complain about the tabbed interface?

Yet another thread wishing to have separate items on each screen

Sounds good- hopefully the new UX solves this issue.

Yet another thread wishing to have separate items on each screen

I recently picked up a 2025 AT. Love the car- its a beauty and an absolute beast. I’m not a fan of the Carplay approach, so I’m trying to use the native Lucid software. Coming from Tesla model S, I’m a little disappointed so far. But I completely understand that patience is required. Tesla...

    Lucid Navigation vs Google Maps

Exactly. Native app is the way to go. Hopefully this can be fixed down the road.
