There are currently 3 mobile techs in the DFW area, none in east texas, so far the experience has been good; I had the dreaded 12V failure while parked in my garage at night and they were out first thing the next morning.
yes 1.2.20 and 1.2.21, if you find you are stuck at a given release (in my case 1.2.17 for over a month) you can call or text customer service and they'll push the OTA update out
I'll be picking up the car from PPF today. After speaking with Brian we decided not to apply additional tint to the windshield/canopy because there might be a visible seam given its size. The plan is to see how I feel about the current canopy heat/glare rejection before deciding on that bit...
I didn't see any Texas requirements re: visors. My understanding was they are a Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard thing. I should have the car back this Wednesday (PPF got held up in customs, and I was on vacation), will post pics.
was lucid able to arrange to have the car sent there first? i know in some cases they were quite helpful with PPF shops and custom installers supplying things like extra badges, fabric samples (for custom radar detector installations etc) and recalibrations for sensors after dissasembly.
