I am nearly three years in and have received excellent responsiveness and support from Lucid service. Quality control in assembly created a few reasons for service to have to make panel and trim adjustments, but the attributes of the Air far outweigh the problems of what is an amazing vehicle.
I lowered it so that it blocked my view of the top of the cockpit panel but still got the keep the hands on the wheel message after a few moments on DA on a well marked highway. The hands free drive assist option is selected in my DD settings.
I have the CCC upgrade and 2.8.0. My DA worked very well in a recent 1400 mile RT before the 2.8.0 OTA. Perhaps I should have made settings changes but DA still gives me the warning to keep my hands on the steering wheel after a few moments of its activation, just as it did before 2.8.0.
I called my SC and spoke with the tech who offered to perform the service a day or two later. Also, I did not reset the drive setting to hold after the necessary reprogramming of the system, so my comment on the slow stop with high regen was wrong. The upgrade is flawless as far as I can tell.
Aside from some annoying glitches in two and a half years with my AGT that resolved, I have no software issues. The car is a delight in every respect. My perspective is tolerance since it is a new vehicle so had I expected perfection with the software I would have been disappointed. For further...
Mobile service installed my CCC and attended to some minor adjustments in under three hours yesterday. I immediately noticed faster response time of the accelerator and less front motor whine, but maybe it was just my imagination. Screen response was noticeably faster. I also noticed and this is...
I trust Lucid to serve my best interests. The fact that we have received multiple OTAs that have successively improved various functions, sometimes materially, is unique in the industry. The new CCC will improve processing time and that is enough for me, as I expect future OTAs and want to enjoy...
What is the proper flatbed procedure with a "do not tow" message? FWIW, customer service is no longer active on Sundays so we are SOL with a Sunday problem.
My advice is to drive an Air or Gravity then decide for yourself. You may want to inquire of those who have warned you if they own an Air. My AGT is be far the best car I have owned, including Porsche Panamera GTSs, 991 Turbo S, multiple Audis, MBs and a rock solid BME 650i convertible. It has...
Agree. Not a perfect system, but why get upset before driving if it takes a few seconds for the door handles to respond? The attributes of the AGT for me are far superior to other cars that I have owned.
I have used the White River Junction Walmart EA chargers and should be able to navigate to and from Vergennes where one of my sons lives without a problem but would like to know more about the stalls in Vergennes. NH is another story however so will have to plan carefully for any trips into the...
Customer care told me that it is a known problem and it will be corrected Monday. The app locked when I tried to authenticate. Interesting that Lucid thinks it’s ok to wait until Monday but road trips happen on weekends too. It’s the first problem I’ve had with EA charging in two and a half years.
Sentry mode and EA charging locations away from densely populated areas would be nice. The preferences expressed above are interesting but the AGT has everything I need for local and long distance driving.
