Can't be too strict on this rule. Had to do this with the lucid. Couldn't test drive here in WA state and the first time I drove the car was when I brought it home. Same with my Rivian. No regrets on both. I've found YouTubers to be quite on target with how they describe ride and handling

Mine would invariably say key fob not detected for 20 to 30s on each drive then redetect the key spontaneously. My guess is if I put the car in park in that moment, it would ask for a pin because it doesn't recognize that my phone is in the car. Just never needed to put car in park in that...

The best way around the uncertainty is to lease unfortunately. You can purchase afterwards if you feel lucid is in better footing in 3y, walk away if worse.

It's his opinion, doesn't necessarily mean he has an agenda. He could be right or wrong, but saying Lucid is shaky and may not make it til the end of the year is not 100% without merit, even if I am hoping he's wrong and he didn't present enough info to justify his prediction

This really should've been the price from the start. No regrets with my car at the higher price, but this is more market value. I hope they're not losing a ton of money on each (and no, not including the capital costs of R&D or factory build out).

Cross shopped the two. It was a coin flip decided by my build becoming current so that decided it :) Android auto may have been literally the deciding factor in me almost getting a Taycan 4S if not for my build suddenly coming and defaulting to lucid :)

They replaced 3 out of 4 tires on mine for being out of round and unable to be balanced. The shudder was very minor and tbh I never would've picked it up if there weren't frequent balance issues reported here (at least previously) - probably from weight of the car sitting in the hot desert.

I like it actually. If I didn't get a Lucid I may have gotten an i5. Can't remember where I read / watched it, but supposedly the Germans don't do frunks for crash safety. I have zero idea if it's real or not.

My seal also fell off, they fixed it (I think, hasn't fallen off since). Also have had stuck frunk and use it infrequently now because I get worried about it getting stuck. Glad to find a fix is in the works, I may have them look at it since mine's going in for another issue

Do you have a pure? Yeah I can never get 300 real world miles on a charge on mine, but I never drive to maximize miles.
