Goldman Sachs Doubles Down on Lucid; Charles Schwab follows - Exciting news for retail investors.

I’m just posting off the top of my mind, so apologies if some of it could be answered with a simple Google search. I’m curious to the extent that this is driven by a fall in TSLA. If institutional investors want to remain in the EV space but no longer want to continue along the fall with TSLA...

Difficult to hand wash car at home - needs car wash mode

All the workarounds aside, I’d say your point stands. The software needs a car wash mode 😅

    Recent loss of range

That’s a good compromise; I suppose also what Tesla does haha

    Recent loss of range

How would it not help? I agree, “in reality, nothing is wrong with the car” but I don’t need or want to constantly be wondering whether or not I actually have 462 miles of range or having to do the mental gymnastics that I actually only have approximately 330 miles (or less lmfao) based on my...

    Recent loss of range

I feel like a lot of this would be solved if they would just allow the estimated range to be based on actual miles/kWh instead of forcing us to think about the EPA rated miles/kWh we aren’t getting.

    2024 Total Deliveries Announced

hiiiiiiii! wow 🤩 the one time it’s useful for me to be an accounting nerd haha so general sentiment in the thread is correct: “traditional” leases people are entering into are not included in the 7% number; now, unfortunately LCID doesn’t talk much about what gives rise to their vehicles...

    Range Questions after first trip

Someone please correct me if I’m wrong, but I recall reading the range displayed on the screen is based on rated EPA (so like… 5mi/kWh?). Lucid hasn’t adopted the approach of calculating range based on actual driving habits for that part of the UI. If you use the vehicle’s navigation, then they...

Why is No One Talking About All of the Improvements to the 2025 GT?!?

not a big fan of the motor whine myself either :( only thing i can think of is they took a paragraph out of Bentley’s learning book. unsurprisingly, they had engineered their cars to be so quiet and comfortable, but the shock is that Bentley owner’s reportedly gave negative feedback about the...

But… you likely already do give away this data? Involuntarily, really. Why give it away for free?

    Auto Insurance using regen breaking

No idea about Progressive. I’m sure they’ll manipulate their own system to their benefit (of course) so don’t blame you

    Auto Insurance using regen breaking

Well, if 1984 is your worry, then many of the existing manufacturers already have you covered! /s They’ve been selling our driving data to insurance companies for a while now. Lol don’t get me wrong; I think data privacy is great and how it should be but it’s just not the world we live in...
