I can't help but think if Rawlinson was still in charge he would have never allowed this to get this far. He seems to have understood the luxury customers.
Some schmuck ran a red light and crushed my bumper and rear right side panel. It's been in an authorized lucid shop for 4 months with no real end in sight. They keep pushing back the completion date every month. First it was waiting on parts then it's wrong parts now they are waiting on a tool...
This makes me sad. For the amount of money we are spending we should be given better customer responses than if we bought a Toyota. I'm glad you at least got the financial part resolved. I get it I hate it when companies don't seem to appreciate you but I think it would be good to look at it...
I just wanted to do an update on this from April. It's now the end of July and I am STILL WAITING for my car to be fixed. I took it to Chilton in the Peninsula since they are one of the few authorized lucid auto body shop and not far from my home. It's been frustrating. Every month they revise...
After a hit and run from a idiot running a red light, video would have been nice especially when the officer asked me if I could pull up the video for them and I said there isn't any and he said but this car coat so much.
For perspective in northern CA compared to 12 months ago, I have seen a lot of Lucids on the freeway. Daily as a matter of fact. Today I walked out to a local main road and there were 3 within minutes. Definitely did not see as many on a daily average compared to a year ago. 2 years ago even...
I've done some testing on this. My local driving yields 3.9 miles /kwh. My highway driving... well it's closer to 3m/kwh. Testing over a 2 month period that's pretty much the numbers I would always see. I grew up in NYC and I drive like it which is why my highway range is atrocious. But the big...
The Lucid app is very seamless and will automatically take over when you plug in. That's both good and bad. Lucid app does not handle discounts like subscriptions so if the lucid app takes over you pay full price. The EA app is super clunky and takes multiple tries of the same thing before they...
I don't agree with this assessment. Yes there are bugs. But I also categorized most bugs I see as P3 bugs. I have not seen p1 or p2 personally. There was a recent bug that could potentially be p2 but they managed the rollouts so most of us would never have seen it which is why you manage...
I went with chilton mainly because I'm in the peninsula and talking to them I felt pretty comfortable that they know what they are talking about. They have one person dedicated to Lucids. Whether that makes a difference, we'll see. These are the times when I'm glad I leased instead of purchased.
As someone whose 2 month old AT just got slammed into by a hit and run driver, video recordings would be great. In fact it was the first thing the officers asked for.
Oooh not a post I want to do but...
I had my lucid for all of 2 months and a guy ran a very late red light and hit the back of my car. Then he took off. But he left his bumper behind.. And his license plate. Anyone know of a good body shop that knows how to fix Lucid. I suspect my insurance...
I was thoroughly confused in my first 2 weeks and I'm a self proclaimed super nerd when it comes to IT. Finally, I decided to turn off passive lock and unlock altogether and tested each to see what I should have on/off. Turns out what makes most sense is not using it and just stick to...
