    DMV Lucid Owners

I’ll be there too - looking forward to it! Just got my Lucid back today from Dulles Coachworks after somebody rear-ended me. Just a very minor body work, but it took a month to complete.

Sorry that I missed this one. I would enjoy showing up in Tysons on April 28 with my DE-P.

    Charging curve logs post 2.1.52

A week ago I charged my Dream Edition with S/W v2.1.52 at a 350 kW EA station and got close to 300 kW (19 mile/min) while at around 10%-15% SOC. The temperature was probably in the 50’s and I preconditioned the battery during the prior 20 minutes of my drive. In the 31 minutes I was connected...

    Used Lucid Market

The sound of the V12 in my AMG S65 is the one thing I miss when driving the Air DE. I had custom Renntech air box, exhaust & chip which made it sound awesome and very unique, especially when starting the car. However the extra +400 HP in the DE make me forget about that once driving. 😀

    Used Lucid Market

I think there are actually fewer used Lucid’s for sale now than there were 6 - 12 months ago. Cars.com shows 34 available across all the US now. When I was looking 6-12 months ago there were usually 45-55 used Lucid’s available. In the past year there have been a lot more new Lucid’s sold, so...

Worlds first lowered Lucid Air Dream…… I think

I had Renntech lower my Mercedes S65 (a digital process since that car has computer controlled air suspension). It looked nice, but after a few years the Michelin tires (305’s in rear on custom Renntech 11 inch rims) started wearing unevenly. I also broke a couple lug nuts - not sure if that...

Lucid Air Touring cancelled, purchased used GT

I followed a similar path … Had an Air GT on order, but canceled it and bought a used Air Dream. I love the 1,111 HP and performance of the car. Didn‘t get a refund, but that’s what I signed up for when I confirmed the order, so I think it’s reasonable for Lucid to keep it.

    Second owners assemble!

A couple days ago I received my used Dream Edition Performance & love it! I’m still in the process of doing the account transfer (I have app access, but the service center doesn’t see me as the owner yet). Earlier I shared two posts on my thoughts comparing test drives & experience with the...

New Touring vs Used Grand Touring

I’m in the midst of doing so right from a fellow forum member. It’s being shipped cross-country now. Glad to hear that customer care is good for second-hand owners.

Lucid Wins “World Luxury Car of Year”

I’ve never heard of this award before, but good news for Lucid! https://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/lucid-air-wins-2023-world-luxury-car-of-the-year-301791054.html ——————— NEWARK, Calif., April 5, 2023 /PRNewswire/ -- Lucid Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: LCID), setting new standards with the...

Hello from CA: selling Dream Perf soon...

I might be interested … where is the car located? Color? I tried to DM you, but either I couldn’t figure out how, or I don’t have that capability. Thanks, -Tom

    Share your best pic!

The Lucid store in Tysons Corner, VA has a Lucid frame & engine in their showroom. The difference between EV motor vs. an ICE more is dramatic! It reminded me of when I had my AMG S65 V12 engine out to be tuned by Renntech. ICE engines are so much bigger, heavier & more complex a compared to...

    Lucid Air Sapphire Drag Race

We could buy four Chevy Bolts for $110K and go 0-60 in 7.1 sec / 4 = 1.78 seconds which would be faster for less than half the price.
