Update: The puncture was too close to the sidewall so since I was looking at replacing two Pirellis I opted to swap everything out for a set of Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4. - T

I have been through six Pirelli P Zero in the 21” and now have to replace a punctured Pirelli 19”. All within four years. I have concluded that the P Zeroes are dog water. If I can’t patch the puncture in the 19” I am sucking it up and swapping all of that garbage out for Michelin Sport...

Maybe the joke is dead, but I’m disappointed to have scrolled this far without someone decrying the lack of additional robustness. - T

You know... I'm good with a heaping helping of robustness. Especially since my previous experience with Tesla updates included breaking changes to the UI and the appearance of the dreaded "phantom braking" issue because someone somewhere (coughMuskcough) decided LIDAR was for wusses and disabled...

The only thing it used shortcuts for was to force the CarPlay connection. Sorry… At least that’s been fixed now! CarPlay reconnects automatically. Almost too “automatically”. The other day I was in the car but trying to connect to my home WiFi, and CarPlay kept crashing reconnecting! - T

Confirmed with multiple YouTube videos that the audio/video lag issue appears to be solved! Also, as of .5 or .7 CarPlay connects reliably. Before, I had an iOS automation that would force a connection to CarPlay if it detected Bluetooth connection to a Lucid. - T

I can confirm that I have received a complete helping of robustness. … I should see if there’s still lag on YouTube audio and video. - T

Just started installing 2.8.7 and I am evidently getting a metric tonne of robustness because the car claims 1h49m to install.

I have a Modern Spare that I used when my 21" took an arrow to the knee pothole to the sidewall. After that, I swore never again with low-profile tires in California and switched to the 19" with the stock all-season tires. The all-seasons have barely lost air in six months, and worked just fine...
