    Software Improvements and Features Suggestions

You have to train yourself to think that you are going out (in your car) every time you go to the garage.. Basically convert that "unwanted unlock happening" into "wanted unlock not happening" - problem solved :) It's all about perspective!

Lucid Air's Number One Software Issue?

For me, it is 100% reliable only when I am getting to the garage to pick up something from the shelf, or passing through to my yard. If I get out to the garage with the intention to get in the car, it opens like half the time.. I think it has an undocumented mind reading feature :)

Lucid Air's Number One Software Issue?

I thought Carlinkit worked with Android Auto or Carplay without any additional SW? Is that not true? Please ignore.. perils of reading from the top!

    Bluetooth Turned Off

This seems to happen to me too recently (android 15 phone, s25 ultra). Restarting the phone helps most of the time, but not always.

Lucid Air's Number One Software Issue?

It is not doing the remote wake up IF the bluetooth way works. I try walking up to the car, which works maybe 60-70% of the time.. If that doesnt work, I push the door handle, which works maybe half of the remaining time.. If that also doesn't work, I open up the app, which work most of the...

Lucid Air's Number One Software Issue?

I know.. problem is app doesn't open sometimes with bluetooth, and when it doesn't I have been using the app to wake up the car and unlock. With this connection problem, that's out of the picture. It is bluetooth or bust.. or calling my wife to bring over the key or something.

Lucid Air's Number One Software Issue?

While I applaud your skill, that's a bit too much for an almost $90K car :) Another vote on opening the door with phone. I don't know if it is with the 2.6.16, but my car seems to go offline more often/places now (including my home, where I have switched to wifi now). It makes me very...

    Update 2.6.16

Both other cars I've had with a variant of lane centering (2017 Acura MDX and 2024 BMW X7) were happy about resting a hand on steering wheel. X7, of course, has hands-free on freeways up to 85mph, but requires hands on the wheel for country roads/highways. Both cars were very reliable about...

    Update 2.6.16

I guess the question is how much torque is enough torque.. Or are you saying weight of hands on the wheel adds no "torque" on the wheel? My experience is that one hand on the wheel usually works, two hands on the wheel works more often.. but still I get alerted every once in a while. Am I...

    Update 2.6.16

Yeah, but if weight of two hands on the wheel is not enough, I don't know what is?

    Update 2.6.16

Another data point on drive assist.. It has definitely improved a lot with this update. I had given up on it and stopped using it earlier, but with this update after a 100mile round-trip, I can confirm it works far better. It pretty much stayed centered the whole time! Detecting hands on the...

    mat with anchor post?

Just for the record (for anyone searching the forum in the future), I received the linerx, and it installed quickly. It fits very well. The anchor posts "lock" in for the two front mats. For the rear, it doesn't quite lock, but it has a bulge that lines up correctly with the anchor (so it wont...

    Squirrelly Drive Assist

I am not sure it's gotten worse recently (I don't use it a whole lot anymore). To me, it has always been bad. I had more confidence in the lane centering of the 2017 Acura MDX I had a while ago, and I use auto-drive all the time on my 2024 X7 even on rural, non-interstate roads. These days on...

    mat with anchor post?

I haven't seen anything about adding it after the fact.

    mat with anchor post?

Don't let them kids play soccer :) Just kidding. I can feel the pain, mine plays soccer too! I also placed my pre-order. There were some threads here about LinerX' non-anchor mats, and it was generally well-liked. It looks good in pictures, I hope the reality matches the picture :)
