This is annoying but hopefully an easy fix. Fingers crossed that it's addressed in the imminent software update along with the window raising issues some have flagged.

That's not true. Even with supplier production in Saudi Arabia, if those suppliers are Chinese entities they are still subject to a number of US regulations. A couple examples: 1) Cars imported to the US are not allowed to have connected electronics (bluetooth, wifi, ADAS hardware, etc.)...

There should just be a separate highway and city rating like ICE cars. Don't think we need to overthink this by asking folks to arbitrarily derate an all encompassing EPA range to closely match highway range.

I like the ix5. Not a car I'd get excited about, but it looks solid, has decent tech and is probably reliable.

I've used the Air system many, many times over long distances. Despite not being the most advanced system, it is generally very predictable. Predictability is key to trust and comfort.

In Westchester and will sometimes have days where I see more Gravity than Rivians. This is obviously anecdotal, but hope this indicates they're starting to get some traction.

They've fixed most of the vehicle issues that had turned people off from getting the Gravity, so I'm guessing their strategy is to get them into as many people's hands as possible via discounts to help improve brand image through word of mouth. They, of course, still need to fix corporate issues...

I've seen multiple people say to turn regen off, but that approach doesn't really make sense IMO. The motors are able to adjust far more frequently than ABS systems, so using regen with careful accelerator modulation should be more effective in the snow.
