I have charged my Lucid Air Pure at a magic dock Supercharger at Bucce’s in Terrell Texas. All Bucce’s have some Tesla Superchargers with the Magic Dock. Here are my experiences:
You must download the Tesla App and you must put in a verified payment Credit Card.
There is no signage indicating...
I had a different issue as it wouldn’t release from the second catch. It confounded the techs they sent out who took apart the frunk trying to figure it out. They ordered new mechanisms for my manual frunk and they found that the mechanisms in the vehicle were mislabeled Right and Left by the...
I solely use my iPhone as my key, and have learned that the phone needs to be “awake” for the proximity to work, so more times than not, have to take my phone out of my pocket to “wake” it up. So I usually take it out of my pocket and touch the phone to the door handle it it unlocks it.
Standards are not always practical and can lead to stupid design decisions. I have 2 Chevys, 1 Ford and 1 Lucid. The Bronco has window switches in the center console for obvious reasons (cost cutting being one of them), but in my Lucid and Silverado the placement of the window switches is to far...
Tesla’s Magic Dock is a beautiful solution (albeit the length of the cord makes it useless) so CCS vs NACS is just a puffed up story grabber when a simple solution is already there. But Lucids are regulated down to 47 kw on said superchargers as they operate at 400 volts which is a bigger problem.
IMO, the Gravity is going to help Lucid with sales, but it will not save Lucid. There are not a lot of people that can afford a 90k SUV. To make the sales to save Lucid they need to be in the middle of the market and have a 50k model to sell that still has the Lucid philosophy and stable...
A quick way to figure out if it’s the vehicle, your phone or your connection is if you get noise from your turn signal blinker. If no noise happens with the turn signal then it’s is the vehicle and a reboot usually corrects it. At least in my experience since 2.4.10
I have had this happen repeatedly. First time I was streaming Apple Carplay and the sound started to get crackly and distorted and then went out, The second time just no sound, including the blinkers. Rather strange thing to happen.
Since my vehicle upgraded to 2.4.10, my GPS is no longer working the vehicle thinks I am at my home location even though I am miles away. Navigation won’t work and Apple maps through CarPlay has the same problem. As I just moved to this area a few months ago it makes driving it useless to me as...
IMO, teach them on the most basic vehicle that doesn’t have all the technology and nannie’s that the Lucids have. I would be especially worried about the regenerative braking that ICE vehicles don’t have.
The concern I have is learning to rely on all the technology and nannie’s isn’t really...
Also, if the camera doesn’t have enough ambient light the video will be bleary and the vehicle will tell you to clean the camera. It goes away once it has enough ambient light.
Don't forget Edmunds is now owned by Carmax, since Lucid doesn't make many vehicles, they can't make a lot of money on used Lucid's so probably affects their ratings.
I have a ‘24 Pure rwd with DD premium and got the 2.4.4 update installed last night. I did notice that it turned off the mirrors tilting down when reversing and the app now is constantly saying my vehicle is offline. When I went to turn on Lucid Assistant it says my phone needs to be connected...
Yep, Tesla used to do the same thing now they do it on a case by case notice. This is what my tinter told me. He said he would remove it for a $100.
I get it somewhat in that people would be cheap and get bad quality tint and all states have different laws of what is allowed. But considering...
