We, too, had an our new Lucid tinted (only the front and top glass, not the side windows). The tinting shop was also next to Lucid's point of distribution in Houston, Texas. It was not cheap even with my military discount. The shop owner all but guaranteed that his tint would do the trick...

For some reason or other it is believed that Lucid's glass canopy is a huge hot issue in places like Texas, Arizona, California and Florida. It would appear to this new Lucid owner that Lucid has a simple solution.
My first thought was exactly that ... tint. However from reading the posts there seems to be an issue with that sorta heat protection. I've reached out to Lucid for their recommendation....we'll see how responsive they are.
The hot heat generated from Lucid's glass canopy has nothing to do with the temperature inside the cabin. It all has to do with the heat bearing down on our heads.
We picked up our Air from Lucid's service center in North Houston late last week.
Today in Houston the sun baked the glass canopy with the driver inside. This is a major flaw in the design. I wonder what kind of a fix Lucid recommends.
