    Latest Bring A Trailer sell

Was watching a 2022 Lucid Air GT on BAT(zenith red with Tahoe interior) with 2500 miles on the clock...it sold for $81,300. That's just shy of 50% depreciation from purchase price. It was a dealer selling it so pretty sure he had less than that in it as it did make reserve and sell. If I was...

    Just add salt...

Below is an article I just read about how a Stanford lab has created a new concoction that makes Li Ion batteries pretty much non-flammable while also letting them operate safely at higher temps...added bonus higher capacity for same size to boot...

    Current Owners - Daily Driver?

You've made the decision that it's your daily driver so go with it and have a blast. I picked my car up from the detailer who did an awesome job applying ceramic coating as well as PPF for entire front of car. 4 miles down the road a truck pulling a trailer with concrete equipment merged in...

New cars being offered at old price?

Did a little research and right now all I can find is the employee incentive to buy where they credit you $500 a pay period until the $18K discount is reached. It continues to pay out only while you're an active employee. Supposedly they are also sending emails out to potential buyers offering...

New cars being offered at old price?

Hello all, Had a reporter I've been in touch hit me up asking if I'd heard about Lucid with an offer to get a GT at the pre-increase price of $139K as long as they took delivery before end of year. Anyone heard anything about that? Boneheaded move if they did, especially at this time with...

My first 1500 miles with my GTP

I've tried placing a hand (overhand) at either end of the flat part of the steering wheel as well as actually placing my hand at about 4 oclock on the wheel to no avail. If I don't give the wheel a little "twitch every 15 to 30 secs she starts screaming at me.

My first 1500 miles with my GTP

I finally got my Grand Touring Performance on Nov 8th. Original delivery was Sept 27th and after much frustration car was sent to Richard and his team up in Virginia. My hat's off to these guys...they have their sh!t together and after having the car for a week returned a nice 100 point car...

New Member Intro. Early Delivery Offered?

Here's the entire verbiage on the tax credit and how it works. Basically if you placed your order (paid your deposit) before 08/16 you can choose if you want the old or new rule applied. After that you're stuck with the new rulings. Clean vehicle credits The act modified the $7,500 Sec. 30D...

    My test drive

I test drove the same car you did when I was there in early July. It's the manager's daily driver is what my guy told me. My test drive was about 45 mins as well. I agree with all your comments about the Denver location.

My Faith In Lucid Has Just Been Restored!

They really are all over the place. I reserved mine in July, paid the deposit in Mid August, got my VIN in early Sept and took delivery on 09/27. I wish it hadn't gone so quickly in hindsight as it would have given me more time to dig into forums like this and get a more rounded picture of...

Seems I'm late to the party. Was going to let everyone know the Lucid chargers are actually available for purchase this morning..

    EA Problems

Hard to swallow it being an EA problem when you’re watching any number of other EVs pulling up and charging without issue. I’m sticking with my conspiracy theory that Musk has purchased controlling shares of EA through various nefarious shell companies and is just jerking Peter’s chain.. That...

New Member Intro. Early Delivery Offered?

100% it’s a car someone cancelled their order on. If you’re ok with the early adopter woes (and there are many) then get it. I personally wish I had waited to see if they were going to get the kinks worked out as well as giving them a chance to expand their service center foot print. Took...
