I have been able to stream music. Sometimes I'd get in my car and it wouldn't connect to SiriusXM right away but after driving from out of my apartments garage (which is ground level and normally doesn't have signal issues where I park) it begins to work.

Update: I had it inspected at the Torrance service center today and they said no signed of "forced removal" so they will cover it at no charge for me but it'll take about 2 weeks for them to get the part, paint it, and then they'll call me in to install which will take about 15 minutes to do.

Gotcha, thanks for the tip and sounds good. I'm glad they are handling these at no charge. I was beyond frustrated last night when I saw it and I noticed right after I got the car back from Valet so I figured it was their fault initially--glad to know this is a known issue.
