    Gravity Bugs / Issues

The inconsistency isn't surprising. In both hardware and software engineering, it's completely normal to see problems experienced in only a subset of population. In autos specifically, there's a long history of this. For example, it's quite normal for recalls to cover a large set of vehicles...

    Gravity Bugs / Issues

All I can say is "thank you for your service". As someone still waiting for my GGT order to go into production, I'm very appreciative of the early adopters who have inadvertently helped identify the teething issues with the car, and improved my chance of receiving a vehicle that isn't as...

    Gravity Bugs / Issues

While the car may be reporting its location to Lucid's servers, I would hope that they have strong data protections in place that make it difficult for most Lucid employees to access data that could compromise an owner's privacy. I view it as a good sign that the service center personnel appear...

    Gravity Delivery Discussion

There's been some speculation that Lucid continuing the $7500 credit for people with orders in place and delivery before the end of the year is due to them finding a loophole that allows them to claim the credit even after the recent legislation. I have no knowledge or opinion about how likely...

    Marketing Annoyance

I disagree. If you're going to be sitting around for 15 or 20 minutes while charging (or more if waiting for a charger to free up), being able to use the gorgeous screen in the Gravity seems like a nice feature.

    Gravity Delivery Discussion

Question about delivery day: should I accept a car that has issues when inspected at delivery? Or is it better to note them, ask Lucid to correct them before delivery, and reschedule the delivery day? If I try the latter, is it known whether Lucid will or won't do that?

    Gravity Bugs / Issues

I like that Gravity can lower when parked. Particularly useful to help one of my dogs that's elderly get in and out. Having test driven an Air, it needs the reverse: air suspension raising it up when parked.

    Dragtimes Lucid Gravity GT

Positive review, but they don't appear to have realized that the 3rd row can stow completely flat into the rear luggage well. The hazards of loaning a review car to amateur reviewers, I suppose.

    $7500 Credit for Gravity Leases

Well sure, governments spend money in an attempt to achieve some policy goal. Companies spend money chasing sales and profits. Incentives worth $7500 from manufacturers certainly aren't unheard of. But they only offer them if they feel they have to, and for the moment there's no sign of that...

    Gravity Bugs / Issues

I imagine that your experience is what they were shooting for with the HUD. The fact that a number of early owners have a worse experience is evidence of some kind of defect or design problem. But hopefully it has now been addressed, and wont be seen in new vehicles produced.

    $7500 Credit for Gravity Leases

Considering the huge costs we're already seeing from climate change, theres an argument to be made that incentivizing a faster shift away from fossil fuels is fiscally prudent. Otherwise future generations will be stuck paying for even more dramatic climate problems.

It's great to hear the visual artifacts of the HUD are now entirely gone for you! That make me a lot more comfortable keeping the HUD option in my GGT order.

    Upping their advertising! Billboard!

I'm of an age where Detroit did not connote quality. While that's improved, I wonder if they're explicitly trying to say that they're a new kind of American car company.

    Reverse Split

I've been lurking on this thread, and I'll throw in my 3 cents: Keeping the stock price well above the delisting point seems like a good move. Delisting would be pretty painful for pretty much everyone but the Saudis. It would especially negatively impact the employees, and increase the...

    Reverse Split

Don't expect that, even if the insiders believe in the company. It's a pretty safe guess that most insiders already have a lot of their (potential?) net worth tied up in Lucid stock. Few financial advisors would recommend buying yet more stock, and decreasing the diversity of one's investment...
