I don’t get the point of this mode, especially in a Touring. It’s slightly more powerful than smooth and not nearly as responsive or powerful as Sprint. But the worst thing is that you can actually feel the computer restricting power on spirited acceleration. It’s like turbo lag I regularly...

So far this is the worst pedal feel from what I’ve driven. There is barely any power 12-15% into pedal travel and then it’s really hard and finally around 40% is when you start to feel any noticeable response. Pair that up with the smooth mode default and it just is unpleasant.

I've owned several cars in the past 5 years, R8, M3 etc. that have had this issue, but I see it the most with the Lucid. People stare at the car like it's a museum exhibit!! 😝 Some will follow, some will click pictures, but everyone is in awe of the looks, and almost no one knows what it is...

Had the same problem and service came out and replaced a part in it. Now its back, and this reminds me I have to contact service.

If that's true their logic sounds pretty dumb. What really bothers me is that the difference in power between Sprint and Smooth is really noticeable. Sometimes I don't want to click the screen 3 times to get the full advertised HP.

It takes a good 5-10 seconds from shifting to reverse till the backup camera turns on. This is really annyoing, but even more annoyingly, the backup camera doesn't even come on 1 out of 4 times. It just says unavailable. Anyone else seeing this?

Interesting, wonder how Tesla is getting away with it. It persists Sport and Plaid modes until they are changed.

Forgot to mention one of my main comparison points. The looks. The lucid looks like it’s from 2023. The Tesla design is 6 years old, based off a design that’s actually 10 years old. They are due for a redesign.

Not sure which one you’ve had, but in terms of comfort the new S class is something else. However the Lucid is on par with the new E class in comfort.

Lucid is ahead for sure. Their adaptive damping on 20" wheels in Swift is somehow better than the MS Plaid with 19"s on Comfort
