the car continues to offer fun surprises. The latest is you have to try and out a seat belt on your dog in the back seat if they weigh over 50lbs or the seat belt alert will chime. That was a fun Saturday am.
I am with you and if I get another one it would be the stealth for sure. Mine was literally stealth for 3 weeks while it was in the service center. I’m sure lucid will figure it out. We can’t have the whole world driving the same Tesla.
Just an update. The car is driving fine since I got it back. I have driven it 8 times and had 2x where the stereo wouldn’t work until you stopped and did a soft reset and 2x the drive mode would not switch into swift or sprint unless you reset it. The only other minor thing is that Alexa is...
sorry you had that experience. I got my car just a couple weeks before you did and have had a similar experience with electrify America not charging at the speeds on the chargers. I heard PlugShare app is a good resource to get intel in which chargers are working well etc. Also had my car go...
Drove 102 miles in smooth at about 70mph avg speed. It used 142 miles of charge if this helps. I also stopped at an electrify America station at a big mall north of atlanta and it connected great but a 150kw station was limited to 50kw which would have taken forever to charge all the way.
If you want to play a fun game, ask the in car Alexa to navigate you somewhere or to call someone and then ask Siri the same question. In my experience. Siri will get it right 4 out of 5 times and Alexa will get it right 2 out of 5 times. I’m sure they are working on it.
just an update. I got the car back and it does work. First time I drove it, I couldn’t change drive modes for some reason but when I got in the car the next time it worked. Then yesterday I drove 100 miles to see some friends and the stereo wouldn’t work until I pulled over and reset the car...
I drove the car in sprint mode 100 miles yesterday but was driving hard and got about 60% of range which I expected. Haven’t done a long highway trip in smooth mode yet.
Well hello Lucid! I should point out that while I didn’t hear from anyone the first 2 1/2 weeks my car was in service, Mandy from the WPB service center did reach out to apologize and followed up twice last week to update me on my car.
Hang in there. I am curious what kind of feedback you would get that would be helpful to Lucid if you surveyed the verified owners you have on this forum.
What is the best way for me to become a verified owner? And is there a place where owners are communicating and sharing that you know of? I appreciate you leading this forum. I know it’s a hard role.
They are supposed to return the car this week and let me know on Friday that they replaced a high voltage battery pack but the person who called was relaying notes so it wasn’t clear. I will update you guys.
