Yes, I could have sworn It said refundable because they were trying to get people with an Air to book a DE.
I never booked a GT and then Upgraded to DE. Mine was a straight up DE booking.
Anywho they put me into a GT so I have time to think about it later down the road AND save 25$ a week to...
I was just told I could buy time by switching to a GT from the DE which would be delivered closer to fall or I lose my deposit now.
I am still trying to find my email where I believe they did say I would get my deposit back until the time they put the car in production.
Anywho I feel they will...
Got a call that my DE was going to production and I was not expecting such a quick turnaround since I only booked it 2 weeks ago. Unfortunately will have to cancel and take the 1K hit for the deposit.
I kind of agree with one of the other posts on the forum that range trumps HP and will wait...
Do not want to be disappointed when they bring out the GTP for 25K less. My test drive is May 10th. Also we see those low mileage 2022 and 2023’s with very low miles on sale for 1/2 or less.
But hey it’s “Only Money” and “you only live once”. 🤪🤪🥳
Is that the only difference between the two.
Also is there such a thing as too much HP these days. Wonder if that is why the range is lower.
Have they confirmed if the DE will have HUD and the other stuff they are taking out of the GT?
Especially when warranty will start ending for the 2022’s. Did not know there were 700 in the N TX area. I have seen about 3 here in the Frisco/Plano area over the last 3 years.
Does the DE have space under the front seats for your feet? The GT does not and it is the most uncomfortable feeling to have your knees in your chest and not being able to straighten your legs. I am only 6 ft tall.
I still do after 3 years 🙂. Good for Lucid if they do not, so do you think it is just the Price that has kept people from flocking to Lucid?. I have not even glanced at a Tesla, too ugly and boxy for my taste.
