I have never experienced a situation where I didn't have (true) satellite radio and my cell service worked; I'm sure there are some niche cases, but those are the exception not the rule. I 100% agree with the OP, this is something that should work without exception; IMO this was a cost cutting...

I figured as much and it’s a welcomed enhancement! What I’m saying is for how much they touted the Airs audio system, I wonder how that will resonante now considering the mixed customer reviews and now that (apparently) the gravity delivers…

We have an XC90, I do like the stereo in it, got my daughter an Acura rdx and was really surprised how good that system was, but IMHO I had an Audi q8 that I think was the best I’ve ever heard, also really liked the Escalade Bose system but that was second place.

Air space is always a factor but I’m reading significant points about rich depth that the air lacks which is a result of them focusing more on the low end octave that the air physically lacks in their setup
