Here you go fellas! Lucid Air SC network will be enabled

The exposed pins would be energized if an adapter could be used for both. With the NACS plug the AC and the DC pins are covered (since they’re both the same). With CCS adapter using a NACS cord you’d be sending AC to the DC lugs, or DC to the AC lugs. The components of each can’t handle the...

Here you go fellas! Lucid Air SC network will be enabled

It’s Tesla’s reluctance to allow Lucid to use higher power. The V3 chargers with the MagicDock have been available to Lucid for quite some time, BUT at the same reduced (50kW) speed. The only difference now is that Lucid can charge at all SuperChargers at 50kW if you have the adapter. I sure...

[RESOLVED] Car won't sleep - 1% Phantom drain per hr

Sorry if someone else pointed this out already… I didn’t read all six pages of responses, but the thing in the report that stuck out to me was the “Walkaway Disabled” indication. You’d need to manually lock the car for it to go to sleep.

    Charging at NACS Superchargers

The question wasn’t about whether Lucid would be allowed on the Tesla network, nor was it about whether Plug and Charge (which is part of ISO 15118) would be available on Lucid (it is) The question was about paying through the Lucid app or having to get a Tesla account. This isn’t a tired...

    Charging at NACS Superchargers

I would doubt that you’ll be able to pay through your Lucid Wallet because that would require magnanimity from Elon Musk towards Rawlinson* and Lucid. That’s not one of Musk’s strong suits.

    Mobile Key stopped working

🤔 My comment reads weird… I edited the “repair” to read “re-pair” but I guess it didn’t take. To be clear, I didn’t have to REPAIR any device, I had to go thru the pairing process again i.e. re-pair. Sorry if I made this sound worse than it was, it took me about 30 seconds to pair my FOBs and...

    Mobile Key stopped working

Mine will erase all connected devices sometimes, it seems there was a situation that I thought might have been the initiator for that the last time, but I don't remember what it was... Pairing a new phone? Changing the FOB battery? Software update? Or, it may have been coincidental to whatever I...

    New IOS Mobile App 2.0

Reupdated to 2.0.1 and there still aren't the icons for the seat/steering heater in the app. I was sooooooo hopeful when those showed up in the app store graphics. Even got my wife's hopes up for it. Now she's REALLY mad at Lucid. They'd be better off under promising and over delivering than...

    Software Improvements and Features Suggestions

I would like to be able to configure my dash display. I hate that when I set the cruise control, the speed moves upward, to a spot right behind the top of the steering wheel. If I want to see the speedometer I have to adjust the steering wheel to an uncomfortable position. What I like about my...

    Software Improvements and Features Suggestions

I think the feature I miss most from my Tesla is the "auto turn-signal cancel" for lane changes. I'm sooooo used to it that I do the old man signal for miles thing. 😬 *don't suggest the three flash half click, because IMHO there needs to be more than three flashes for lane changes to give...

Is this normal for the headlights?

Mine has the dark spots. I hypothesized that they were for the cameras to calculate distance at night. The apparent distance between due to parallax would vary according to actual distance that that spot was hitting the pavement. 🤷🏽 But I'll accept the matrix headlights or "best" spot to...

    Charging at NACS Superchargers

To be fair*... That's if you want to lock in lower per kWh rates. You can charge without the monthly charge but it's at a higher price rate. *but to be fair, I'd rather not give Elon any of my money.

Interference with Phone GPS and EZ Pass transponder

Metallic tinting is very effective at filtering/blocking UV and IR "light" that are generally undesirable in the cabin of your car. The equally undesirable side effect is the blocking of radio signals for GPS, EZPass rfid, wifi, bluetooth, etc. Optimizing for one or two (IR/UV) bleeds over into...

Are We Asking the Wrong Question About Charging?

This comment seems as good a place as any for me to rail against DCFC in National parks, State parks, and even Local ones. Parks should be places where we PARK our cars (if that's the only way we can get there) and spend a few hours getting some fresh air, a little exercise, and enjoying the...
