Well, this topic went off the rails.

On the next earnings call, I expect an update on availability of the gap filler. Kidding. Would be nice to get an update on a renewed timeline for tech updates that were previously announced on the last call that never came to fruition (city hands free etc.)

Received an email that financing is now available in NJ. Glad to see they are expanding to other states. Favorable financing will be needed as they look to release lower-priced vehicles. And, of course it becomes available two months after I made my purchase, as I knew would happen.

You can make that argument with anything on the screen. Even before a screen. Trying to find a radio station. Looking for a tissue to blow your nose. Tesla has this functionality. Convenient (IMO) to be able to see what’s around you on the screen using the LIDAR and cameras and whatever other...

Good luck. I wrote and called so many times as a prospective buyer inquiring if they plan on fixing it, and I never received a response, so gave up and ordered without the HUD. It’s odd they keep selling cars with it knowing it’s junk. Especially now the GT edition.

When you enter the vehicle and step on the break, does the correct profile then load? My wife didn’t know you needed to step on the break for the seat adjustments to begin to align to your profile.

Having the screen as another safety check before entering a lane is helpful. It’s difficult to see through the tinted windows, privacy screen, and huge frames that all block your vision. How many times have you tried to enter a lane and didn’t realize someone was in your blind spot? It happens...

Being on a highway and looking down at the screen to see if cars are around you vs. over your shoulder is a huge convenience and safety improvement. Or, just have it on the dash like when cruise control is activated. Why is that not always viable?
