2024 Lucid Air Touring — $22K Repair Estimate, Insurance Wants to Total It. Advice?

Maybe make the settlement, buy it back, and find another source for a cheaper repair? If it were my 2-year old car, I'd likely be good with "close enough" if things are just cosmetic.

WINDSHIELD REFLECTIONS ( Dash & HUD)

Actually no. You got a polite, professional, say-nothing response. But you have been heard. That's a lot better than simply ignoring you, which has been my experience. Baby steps.

WINDSHIELD REFLECTIONS ( Dash & HUD)

True. But as a retired senior executive I cannot imagine a simple "Thank you for reaching out, we are working to continuously improve our products" or similar fluff that would go a long way. I've tried twice as a prospective owner to professionally reach out to the Lucid leadership team. No...

Out of Spec roadtrips Gravity and DDP2 has some issues

I bought my 2017 new (old HW3 hardware, v12 FSD) and have used their FSD since its inception. A few thoughts: 1. FSD with an alert driver is safer than alert driver alone. Same with DreamDrive, I'm sure. 2. FSD (non RT version) is nowhere near autonomous, even on newer models and the latest...

Is anybody successful in reaching Lucid for Annual Service

This is for work outside warranty? If so, maybe they get a pass on the rental. But still, I expect more from a quality brand. My 9 year old Tesla to date has always had a free loaner available for overnight service, well outside warranty. From the outside looking in, we've been discussing the...

    Kim Java - Preview Gravity?

Fool me once... Been there, done that. Lots of talk, very little demonstrable product.

    Kim Java - Preview Gravity?

Problem is, I want one car that does both. And Tesla is not it. If someone actually develops one of these (Lucid, BMW, Volvo, Mercedes) it will be a game changer.

Is full self driving being developed for Gravity?

Last time I bought a car based on self driving "shoulds" was 2017. Fool me once, shame on me. That's not going to happen again. Although, I'll stand in line for something like FSD and geared towards consumers (not Robotaxis - that's a different product) that is not from Tesla. It will be an...

Does the in-car version of Tidal allow for local downloading of playlists?

What topic are you most interested in for our next AMA?

I really wish they would reschedule this. So many questions we can only speculate about. Apparently we are not meant to know about Lucid's strategic or tactical plans, even at a 50k level. I'm not asking for a commitment to anything, rather just talking to current and potential customers...

Lucid Gravity UX 3.6 is here!

Don't the outside mirrors fold in when locked? That's what I look for on my old Tesla.

Anyone having problems charging with Tesla (DC and AC)?

If there was a 400 Kw charger within 10 miles I would have left, charged, bought Starbucks for myself, and smile back before she is done charging.

States at the wheel: A state policy scorecard on electric vehicle readiness

They seem to assume all of that government oversight is a good thing. That's subjective. Guess there's a reason my state is a zero. Thank God.
