I have gotten rid of Spotify and moved over to SiriusXM. Though the functionality is more fluid on the iOS app, the product is excellent. I much prefer the SiriusXM service over the Spotify offering.

Thank you @hydbob, the logo reboot corrected the issue. I tested this a few times today and it consistently worked.

This is not intermittent. It happens every time I go into reverse. I have not performed a logo reset before. Is there a link to the instructions for that?

I had to go through this process when my 12V system went dead. I never did figure out why the 12V system went dead. What charges the 12V system? I was assuming it was topping up from taking a portion off the main power pack or during the times it is plugged in.

Thanks for taking the time to test this out. I’m relieved knowing that they are coming on more frequently than I was originally led to believe.

Though I believe they do come on, I don't believe they come on as often as they should. The rate of deceleration should be revisited to determine a more real-world value for when the lights activate. Multiple people have told me they nearly ran into me and thought my brake lights weren't working.
