Rattling from driver's side wheel area

By carefully listening to the sound at low speed and accelerating, you should be able to figure out if it's something about the wheel or tire (makes a noise once every wheel rotation), or just something on the car loose and rattling. As we have had many very hot days this summer, I have picked...

    Battery modules repair cost

I've watched some third-party Tesla repairs where Tesla claims that an entire battery needs replacing at a cost of $24,000, but the third party garage can replace individual modules for only a couple hundred dollars. As the electric car industry matures, I suspect this will become common. But...

    "Upgrades"

And I absolutely despise subscriptions for things like that. It drives me away from certain brands. It's part of the reason I drive a Lucid instead of a Tesla.

    Tesla supercharging working today?

Tesla destination chargers (privately owned, AC power) and Tesla Superchargers (Tesla owned, high voltage DC power) are very different. It's up to the owner of a destination charger how it is configured, and I have used them (with appropriate charger) for 3 years now. What changed today is...

    Rear view camera view

The camera is working as expected, but the digital alignment is off. Each camera is very wide angle, and when they perform a camera calibration and alignment they digitally set the zoom and cropping on each camera so that they look correct. I know this because a long time ago a software update...

Cosmetic aluminum / chrome pieces that are mounted on the top edge of the trunk on either side of the latch on the bottom where luggage crosses over

I have a GT. One from the summer of '22 when they were still sorting out a lot of fit & finish issues, so having these come unglued wasn't surprising.

Cosmetic aluminum / chrome pieces that are mounted on the top edge of the trunk on either side of the latch on the bottom where luggage crosses over

Lucid replaced mine for free when the adhesive let go and one became mangled while unloading the car.

    Splitting navigation displays

I do want both nav and music visible. Sometimes I am using another source for nav, so that means ApplePay and music. Having turn-by-turn or now-playing show often helps with this. But I have found that when I am most likely to want to look at the info is while waiting at a traffic light, when...

    Repairing/Replacing Windshield

My understanding is that you can get it replaced somewhere like Safelite, but then it has to go to a Lucid service center for sensor calibration afterwards.

I think I figured out much of the cause of my MobileKey frustrations - baby got back!

You have to add the Lucid integration with HACS. There's a whole thread on it here at https://lucidowners.com/threads/home-assistant-automations.7897/

    Gravity accessories slowly appearing

I started with just an outlet in the garage and using the mobile charging cable, using the same reasoning. After a few months, charging became unreliable, sometimes stopping before the car was fully charged. It took quite a while to figure out that the outlet was overheating and triggering a...

    Key Detecting Antennas

I was writing yet another response on a different thread about poor unlocking performance, trying very hard not to sound whiny while asking some questions about why this works for some people but not others, when I think I figured out why my usage pattern leads to the car often being slow to...

Lucid Loaner Key Fob Experience and Lesson Learned

As far as I know, the car does not lock with a key inside without you taking explicit action. If you leave the key inside and walk away, it will eventually turn off and fold the mirrors and bring the handles in, but it is not locked. If you press on a handle, it will open again. That has been...

    Northeast Lucid regional area

The biggest problem we had with destination chargers at motels was that (2 years ago) neither Google nor any of the travel sites let you search on that feature. So finding such hotels took way more effort than it should have. We stayed at one (A Comfort Inn) that had one that was free and they...

    Northeast Lucid regional area

Welcome! We have road tripped with ours quite a bit (35,000 miles in 2.5 years with no daily commute) and love it. No range anxiety. A week after getting ours, we drove from Boston out to Yellowstone and back. OK, some range anxiety in the upper west, where there might be only one or two...
