I've had the Chargepoint for 8 months now and I've had to reset it by flipping the breaker twice. So for the most part it works, although the lights on the side say otherwise. But I agree there seems to be a Lucid-specific problem for the Chargepoint that should warrant buying a different device.

Even with "automatically restore" enabled, it still takes a few minutes for the seats to adjust for each driver. Presumably this will be improved in time.

Both videos were really good and well worth watching to appreciate the decisions made in the Lucid. Also, that guy knows more about cars, car manufacturing, and materials than I've ever known about anything.

I've seen this happen twice on the front passenger's side door. Unclear what the cause or fix is. But it's only happened twice in 10 months.

I have no idea but I'll ask! Like pretty much every Lucid service tech, he's wonderfully patient, knowledgable, and generous with his time.

Service tech is here today (whohoo! whohoo!) and performed a "seat homing" to fix it. Basically said the seat kind of forgets where it's at physically so it can't restore properly. After doing the "seat homing" it seems to be working again.

I've had this happen to me ~3 times. The frunk partially unlatches (mechanically) and then gets stuck in a state where it's neither obviously open nor can it close completely. But if the car thinks the frunk isn't fully closed it caps your speed. Pushing down on the frunk until the mechanical...

Thanks for sharing and sorry you're having this! FWIW I had this at 2.0.46 and the next OTA cleared it out. Hopefully Lucid finds a fix for you or an OTA comes along soon that does for you what worked for me.

Totally agree. Communication can be the difference between unfortunate/disappointing and infuriating. And it's something that can be reasonably staffed.

I'm pleased to report that the update to 2.0.48 seems to have fixed my issue (blank pilot panel + frozen top-right, media-nav panel). I assume the software update did a fuller reset-type of thing that unfroze it.

Yeah, yeah. I have a vague theory that it might be better to use the 150s (which are really 175s) instead of the 350s (which are double 175s). I thiiiiink all my failure to charge problems have been on 350s. And while a 350 may provide 200+ for a few minutes, they pretty quickly get down to 150...

I charged at Bloomsburg once. Slightly older Sheetz, a few miles off I-80. IIRC 4 stations. I stopped there mid-afternoon on a weekday and was the only one using it. I'm pretty sure I was below 40% SOC and had preconditioned the battery but only pulled ~80kw on a 350kw station. So it was...
