2025 Touring Door Handles Don’t Work

So when they do give you a timeframe and miss it, you're displeased. When they don't give you a timeframe, you're displeased. Not sure what you want from them other than to wave a magic wand and fix it. Troubleshooting a complex system is a difficult thing to do and no one can tell the future...

2025 Touring Door Handles Don’t Work

Door handles not presenting is a common problem, not much to be done about that. It's a design flaw. Door handles not opening the door is less common and probably something specific to your car. Service will sort it out, just going to have to be patient.

    Audio Issues

Polestar did the same thing when they couldn't get their cellular modem to function properly in the early P2s. For a while they would tell owners to do an awful "raindance" type of restart procedure to bring it back to life. Later on they released an update would just have the system reboot on...

    Sapphire vs Turbo GT!

Man that Sapphire can RIP! I'm not familiar with the Porsche, I thought it was a BEV? What's he talking about "second gear?" Is it a hybrid? If he's churning through cogs that's probably why he lost..

I suppose it's a good idea in the same way that duct tape is a good idea when your tire is leaking air

    Audio Issues

Aw just had my first Audio glitch since the 2.7 update. I really thought they had it licked! Soft restart resolved it for me. Back to the drawing board for Lucid I suppose. I suspect the underlying problem still exists, but they're rebooting the system automatically more often now in an effort...

Lucid Charging for EA within 3 months of delivery?

I was told free charging was no longer included from MY 2025 and on when I took delivery in Feb. Seems like your SA was mistaken (if you have a '25).

    Gravity Dream Drive Options

What's your definition of "highway lane keeping"? All DreamDrive packages include lane departure protection - this will yell at you and can jerk the wheel if the system detects that you're unintentionally drifting out of your lane. It'll simply ping-pong you between the lane lines with limited...

    Over heating of cockpit monitor

Did you get fresh velcro strips from EZ Pass (they'll send it out for free if you ask)? If you used old strips the adhesive might be too tired. I've had no problems with my EZ pass or my Viofo, both rock solid. Full disclosure, my car is garage-kept.

Upgraded AC compressors on the Air

I don't think they'll be doing any sort of retrofit program. However, it's possible If the compressor needs to be replaced during service for some reason they may replace it with the new design.

    Over heating of cockpit monitor

Mine also gets quite hot, to the point where holding my finger on the screen long enough to turn off climate keep mode can be uncomfortable at times. I trust that they've engineered it to tolerate the temperatures. I also doubt it's entirely environmental. I've encountered this in situations...

3,242 Mile Road Trip - Lucid Air GT 2022 - LA to Arkansas

Thanks for sharing, great pics. The "Who makes Lucid" really got me 😂 can't count how many times I've played that game. The car has quirks but it truly shines on distance drives. I've done PA > NC a few times on a single charge.

    Will Lucid license Tesla FSD?

You're right, it's an abstract scenario. But the intention of the scenario is to highlight the lack of data the system has to work with before we even get to any sort of logic. The classic "garbage in, garbage out" still applies in today's computing, and the consequences are even more extreme at...
