Yeah the worst part is the electronics stay almost too hot to touch for over an hour after turning the AC on max. You can set it to keep at 85f??? Is that just keep mode, or is it something different?

Mine was 150f yesterday. Thinking about trying the cookie baking thing on the dash. Wondering how long the interior is going to last on these at those temps for a couple months out of the year over a decade.

What are the "right settings" when we keep saying it's intermittent? If the settings were wrong it would simply not work. With passive unlock off it simply wouldn't unlock at all, not unlock sometimes. If it's the latter that's a huge security issue.

Yeah waking or opening the trunk/frunk with the phone is silly too. Takes a good 45+ seconds to wake the car then another 20-30 to actually unlock after I push the button. I'm starting to wonder if I just have a bad apple on that front.

Must be nice. The one time I didn't bring my fob I was locked out of my car. Had to use the valet key. Now my wife carries her key in a faraday bag in her purse just in case and I always have my fob. Still has an embarrassing failure rate.

I push the handle and it pushes in and doesn't do anything. It just pops back out to flush. If just pushing the handle worked I wouldn't be here.

I wish I could trust the car without my FOB. The PAAK has a much higher failure rate.

Seriously. It's a good 15% of the time. I have my phone as a key and my FOB, often separate, and I walk up and nothing. It's not cold today it's 70f. My battery was just changed last week AND I got a faraday bag because of course you need that nowadays? I feel SO stupid walking up to my $125k...

OP here. All I did was clean it out and obviously some of it stayed wet, but it dried out within the day. As long as you clean it out and water isn't just being poured in there it's fine. Woulda been fine if pounds of snow fell in - just clean it up.
