Lucid contacted me this evening and were incredibly friendly and sympathetic. A new wheel is on its way to Atlanta. I'm happy to say they really cared and understood how upsetting that was. Great loyalty builder!

So the car was just dropped off at my house after being gone for two weeks and towed all over the southwest. The right front wheel now has serious curb rash. There are not words to describe my level of anger and frustration. I’ve driven the car 1800 miles and it spent 1400 miles on tow trucks...

The official review was wind noise normal. I can’t say I agree. Compared to the German competitors, the rush of air past the driver’s door is tremendously loud.

Good new on my GT battery. It passed testing and doesn’t need replacing. The engineer in me still wonders why it threw a code. Here’s hoping it stays fixed. They are working on the wind noise for the front doors. I’d by thrilled if they could dial that back.

I can’t even imagine having the patience it requires to do work like this. It’s pretty amazing.

Oh man that sucks I’m sorry! My experience was a bit of the opposite. I am in South Beach for business (life’s rough) and was just able to set a code for the appropriate garage door. They came in took the car no issues. I have now received 2000 notifications that my car is being towed lol

So they picked up my car today. I was expecting them to take it to the new Atlanta location where they did a few routine cosmetic repairs. But, it appears to be on its way to Florida.

Did you get any indication from the car that anything was going on? I received a text out of the blue this morning that Lucid had received an indication of a fault and they wanted to see if anything needed to be replaced. Is that approximately what you were told on the first text? Interestingly...

Nope just that it sent a message. I don’t see any notifications on my end. I’m not worried - Lucid has been really great so far.

Received a text from Lucid today that my GT through a code and they need to get the car. 2023 manufactured 11/2022. Any thoughts? Is she going to make it?

You just have to be comfortable with the fact that you are a beta tester for the vehicle in its software and an alpha tester for the service network. Things that drive me crazy are doors not opening when I approach the car, the inability to make HVAC adjustments in the app, and the overall lack...

I can only imagine the frustration and anger having to make that decision. The loss of time and messing up at your schedule must’ve been intolerable.
