    STUCK IN NAPA--totally Dead Vehicle

I don't know why EVGO chargers were not working, but if it showed that you were half or 3/4 full, you should have been able to drive. A software upgrade won't happen if the charge is below a certain level, and if you had a sufficient charge level before the update, there's no way that an update...

    “Offline”

This forum tends to have a pretty good balance. I've seen others where too many people complain about things that are normal, and ones where defenders of the companies seem to think that the companies can do no wrong. Your experience was negative, but inconsistent with what others have...

    2.8.0 Feedback Only!

ACC works on city streets and you will get a big yellow warning that the lane centering part won't work. However, it still seems to work on numbered state and federal routes. That includes sections that slow down and pass through towns, which are essentially similar to city streets. Lucid...

    2.8.0 Software Update

If you are in for the CCC update, they will have to update the software also. I haven't heard of anybody with 2025 cars, which already have the new CCC, updating any faster.

    2.8.0 Feedback Only!

I'd like to hear more feedback from people on their overall experience with performance aside from it being hands free. Before the update, there were situations where I took over, not because the car made me, but because I didn't feel fully comfortable such as when approaching freeway ramps that...

Yay Hardware upgrade CPU and memory

I couldn't remember what I had the ambient lighting set to prior to the install, and I wasn't sure when I got it back whether it was the same. I'd suggest going through the themes setting to see whether it's set to what you want. Whether or not the screen backgrounds actually changed, it's your...

    2.8.0 Software Update

Absolutely. Progress bars and percentages work great for file transfers, downloads and copy operations on computers, where there's a specific amount of information to transfer. For software updates and installations, it comes down to what a developer considers xx% done. If, for example, there...

Yay Hardware upgrade CPU and memory

It makes sense for a broken CCC, which in theory might not allow them to back up the data and restore it. But they aren't doing that. If they could, I assume that they would, but it seems strange that they can't. I would expect diagnostic computers to be able to see settings and data, which...

    2.8.0 Feedback Only!

I had to lower it just enough that it partly obscures the banner above the speed limit number on the display. Having it high enough to read that was a problem for me. I opened and closed the Frunk many times after the update, and they all seem a lot smoother to me. Mine was positioned like...

    A different perspective

I saw the Gravity briefly when I went in to have the CCC upgrade. I liked what I saw and thought that the layout for the driver was much better. From what I can read into this thread, I'd be better off not test driving it? I don't need another vehicle at this time.

    Upgrades and the Monroney Label

I agree. Ultimately, what counts is the sales documents. If the car came with the promised features, there may or may not be an argument to be made that the Monroney sticker is wrong, and it might be possible to force Lucid to print out a new one, but why?

    Upgrades and the Monroney Label

It's not a problem for all used cars. It's a problem for the relatively few that don't have whatever sized wheels came with the cars when new. In this case, Lucid sold me a car with the wrong label. I know about the proper pressure, many of the forum participants would know, but only a small...

    Upgrades and the Monroney Label

It does, but when people check the label, they are going to look at the recommended pressure, not check to see if the listed wheel size matches what's on the car. If Lucid had put a label listing the recommended pressures for each wheel size, that wouldn't be an issue because people would check...

Lucid Air as a home battery backup

PG&E doesn't allow for it either. In fact, they'd punish you for it. They have no direct way of knowing, but if you sent power back to the grid with the battery, which the Tesla app would let you do, and got it back at night when the rates are lower, it would increase flow in both directions on...

    2.8.0 Software Update

I finally got to test it out and Hands Free worked well. I first reset the face recognition and steering wheel position, as recommended earlier in this thread, which I needed to do anyway after the CCC upgrade, and the car didn't complain about not seeing me except when it should have...
