    LCHCS stuck at 12A

Right. They'll do nothing in return. They did offer me a new one, but, I had had enough. So you are correct -- sending it back was the same as throwing it in the trash. Problem is, I can't even throw one of those cardboard tubes from an empty paper towel roll in the trash -- I have to...

Oh, wow. I wish I had known that. And yes, I thought it was an extremely poor response from customer care. But, it is done now.

Tom didn't want it, as he had one already. He agreed my problem was most likely using 6AWG wire, but no way to tell without testing. I was not going to spend $15/foot for 15 feet a wire without some assurance that was go to fix the problem. That was on me, but, I'm still annoyed.

ACtually, Lucid has already given Tom a LCHCS to test, but he has more EVSEs to test than he has time to test them -- my guess is he probably never will, although he might be keen to see if he can get his to limit itself to 12A the same way I think mine did.

So the saga comes to a close. Lucid is taking the unit back, but not "refunding" me my referral points back. I strongly suspect the only problem is that the unit is expecting 2AWG wire, does a voltage drop test, and then derates to a lower amperage if the voltage drop is outside a certain...

    Rangexchange V2V working great

WHo are you asking? As it turned out,my wife didnt' need to shuttle hikers as originally planned, ergo,I never borrowed the cable. It was going to be 8 hours of driving and charging, but I'm actually a little sad I wasn't able to do it. But I'm sure @borski and @DeaneG have their cables.

    LCHCS stuck at 12A

I have a charger at home again. I removed the Lucid LCHCS and replaced the old one that hasn't failed me in ~10 years. Lucid CS stopped communicating (via email) with me about 10 days ago. I called them yesterday, but the team that I needed to talk to was out for Juneteenth, and not expected...

    LCHCS stuck at 12A

I officially think this LCHCS is defective. I have asked for my money back, but Lucid is ignoring me. I bought a IR thermometer to test the connections. After 2.5 hours at 12A, both connectors actually dropped in temperature (the ambient temperature also went down, so it makes sense). One...

Oh, for sure it was. I have an annual subscription, and keep it current.

    RESOLVED Android Auto Thursday

Huh. I didn't have to log in to my ABRP Premium. It just worked automatically.

    RESOLVED Android Auto Thursday

ABRP gets data through AA. I don't have an Enode subscription. I was weary of giving my data to yet another 3rd party,so, never got that subscription. Works seamlessly with no set up.

    RESOLVED Android Auto Thursday

I'm extremely pleased with how Android Auto is supported in the 2.7.0 update. Android Auto seamlessly shares data with the Lucid system. ABRP automatically gets the data it needs like battery state of charge. Android Auto is also sending turn-by-turn directions and media information like album...

    LCHCS stuck at 12A

Interesting. To answer other questions: This subpanel is on a 100A breaker The sub is maybe 40 feet from the main panel The EVSE is within 50 feet of the sub-panel 6AWG wire Thanks everyone for your feedback. I'm still waiting for Lucid Customer Care to respond. I'm outa town for a few...

I see what you did there! Agree that additional V drop is likely, and linear.
