Do you think Lucid will make cheap cars?

I guess we now know what Tesla's real intentions are: https://www.reuters.com/business/autos-transportation/tesla-scraps-low-cost-car-plans-amid-fierce-chinese-ev-competition-2024-04-05/

We've gone front-plate-less since October '22, and no issues. As others have noticed, lots of Teslas are going topless too. Doesn't seem to be an issue.

Post your mi/kWh efficiency in inclement weather

Drove 180 miles R/T to the Denver airport yesterday. Outside temp was ~17 degrees, traffic on the highway was moving between 75-85 mph. Averaged 3.2 mi/kwh. Lifetime (16,000 mi) is the same- 3.2 mi/kwh.

    Winter driving

A little late to the thread, but after taking delivery in October 2022, we drove to Santa Fe for an inaugural road trip. On the way back, we hit a lot (3-4") of snow and the stock 19" AW tires were fine. The extra heft of the car seems to give it a lot of stability, and I never felt any unease...

    FEATURE OTA Update 2.1.47

Wow- of all the various nits and complaints that others have mentioned, this whole "you've gotta move the turn signal in the same direction to cancel" thing was probably my biggest one. Can't tell you how many times I've tried to cancel, but activated the signal for the other direction, tried to...

When I first looked at the map, I thought so too- but if you do zoom in, the Nylunds shop is listed as the Bodyshop (where they used to be) and the new location is about 3 miles away...

Looking at another thread about the updated locations on the Lucid website, it looks like the company FINALLY has a new service center location in Englewoeod(South of E. Jefferson Ave, on S. Odgen St. just east of the Cherry Hills Country Club). Has anyone seen it? Can it handle more than 2...

Greetings from "the West Texas town of El Paso"

Took my longest road trip to El Paso earlier this year to visit family. Car was great, but man- you are living in a charging desert (alongside the regular desert, of course) . Only fast charger is (was?) the EA charger at the Walmart on the east side, and nothing else for a long way. Still...

It's a beauty- enjoy it (although today might not be the best chance- we got about 10" of the white stuff in Colorado Springs)

New Air Pure owner in Colorado

Yup, probably me. But as far as winter driving, you might be surprised at how well it handles in the snow on the all-season tires (it’s such a heavy car…) We didn’t get the snows until January, and wend skiing several times with no Issues. But heck- Head down to New Mexico or something. It’s a...

    No need to reset TPMS

Sure- Discount Tire. And as I understand it, if you're sticking with the same tire size, there's no need to reset the TPMS.

Has anyone tried to fit a guitar case in the trunk or frunk?

I was able to fit my large-ish acoustic guitar case into the car without any problems at all- main luggage went into the frunk, and the guitar fit easily into the trunk (even without opening the lower level. I guess that I could have folded down half of the rear seat to slide it further in, but...

A Day with Lucid Sales & Service

Yeah- how many versions of "What is it?" Lucid "But who makes it?" Lucid "but what is it?" Lather, rinse repeat. I might get some cards printed up, just to hand them out.
