I agree that automatic unlocking can be problematic. Once I was at a spot (about 3 miles from downtown Leesburg VA) when the car wouldn't unlock. I had to call my wife to bring the plastic door key to unlock the car. Apparently the Lucid couldn't connect with a satellite so it couldn't respond...

I had a similar issue. The door sensor said the door was open even though it was closed and I couldn't drive the car. Fortunately it happened while I was home. The service center in Tysons Gallaria had towed it in and repaired it. I got the car back the next day. They kept in touch with me and...
