I can also confirm that the orientation may be relevant as I originally installed my TollTag in a vertical orientation while trying to squeeze my radar detector into the same small tint cutout window...It also did not get read until it was placed in the proper horizontal orientation.

Well, famous I am not.... However, I had my service appointment on Wednesday afternoon (the day before the update). Everything is working again perfectly on the car (including the DDPro)--though I've only had I short trip in the car since the service appointment and subsequent software update...

I've been waiting since July 1 for the software update as a potential fix to my complete absence of DDPro (after a brief period of it working). I was originally told by customer service that the update was imminent. Now I'm not so sure. :-(

Dallas has a sort of "unofficial" physical service center in Ft. Worth where they will take your car for anything the mobile service tech can't do out in the field. They have basically rented garage space with one of the major metroplex dealerships.
