AK is a challenging state for an EV, though with the Air's range you have the best one for the job.

    Which charger to buy

At $1000 off, it's a no brainer for hardwiring Lucid's charger. A 100 amp circuit would be great, but it'll work well on a lower-amp circuit as well. Mine is on a 60 amp circuit that I reused after removing a Tesla charger. Or you could hardwire Tesla's universal charger that has an adapter for...

    New owner needs guidance

That's America's Tire in California. Same company. You can buy a tire warranty from them regardless of if you bought the tires there or not.

when should i replace the tires? (1 year old Air Touring with 20 inch original tires)

Wear indicators show the legal minimum tread depth of 2/32”. It's wise to get new tires at around 4/32".

It's a reasonable choice. Though the Lucid charger's software is non-existent, the unit works well with the car.

@Katori There isn't a really clean FAQ on installing a home charger. A few bullet points: Definitely install a home EV charger. It makes the difference between an EV ownership chore vs a pleasure. I'd highly recommend having your electrician hardwire a dedicated EV charging station rather...

Lucid Connected Home Charging Station speed

At the charger itself! Though it's much easier and safer if the car and/or charger report the voltage during charging. I don't remember if the Air or the LCHCS can do this.

Help me back out of my driveway

Volvo and Polestar pop up a button for a few seconds to temporarily disable rear auto braking when you switch into reverse. It was added by customer request @mcr16 .

    My two year review.

I agree with OP on the nav software. Lucid has been very actively working on improving it. But IMO it will forever be at a disadvantage compared to Google Maps' far more complete database, and the relative ease of supplying crowdsourced user input and corrections to Google vs HERE.

    GM released v2h

I'm planning to replace one of my two home chargers with the Enphase IQ, as it can modulate the car's charging rate to consume only excess solar generation - avoiding selling it back cheaply to my utility company. But it's unidirectional. We'll see how well this works. Enphase has announced...
