I do think that their completely outdated offerings were related to their being no early benefits to DDP, so since they couldn’t deliver hands free or any of the other features at the time, they just decontented their base offerings. Glad that they’re catching up with DDP so that they finally...
I just want to make a new post because there is so much confusion around this (100% Lucid’s fault), but according to their website’s “compare” tool, even the base Dream Drive 2 gets active lane centering! This makes the vehicle much more approachable for so many people and the base price much...
Just to follow up, I double checked Lucid’s “compare” page and they have changed the descriptions of what each package includes. It was previously ambiguous which packages included lane centering because the air only included it with Dream Drive Pro and because Lucid did not use the term “lane...
In that case I find it extremely frustrating that Lucid doesn’t tell you anywhere which package actually provides lane centering. I’m guessing then that you don’t know whether it will be included in premium 2? Although I feel like lane biasing implies lane centering…
I believe that on the Gravity Lucid actually includes lane centering (or what they refer to as “lane biasing”) in DD Premium. But who knows when they will deliver one that’s not fully specced for someone to test that out.
Very happy for everyone about to get their Gravities! Meanwhile, looks like non launch builds are looking to be as late as October. Which, speaking of, can I just gripe for a second about how much I dislike the stupid sales associate system? My SA has been actively unhelpful and disinterested...
Nope. They clearly hit some roadblocks, but they've been fairly quiet as to what those might be. From everything I'm seeing, seems like real deliveries in meaningful numbers should begin in about 2 months.
I recently got the chance to drive an Air Pure in NYC, then a week later got to drive the Gravity at their pop up in Atlanta. Both drives were in city traffic on difficult streets and at low speeds (never got over 45 in either drive). After driving the Air Pure, I was very nervous about my...
Come on, we can like a car brand without being so loyal that we gaslight an owner for calling out real issues or pretending that having your car or doors randomly not work are just "easily fixed minor issues." That kind of attitude and willful blindness is just fine for people with multiple cars...
I got the same notification today, also have a white GT with no HUD. Originally ordered November 18th, but I promise you, after watching the Volvo EX90 rollout and now this rollout, Lucid doesn't care about order date in the slightest, regardless of what they may have said about "prioritizing...
I'm reminding myself that I love my current car, which has no fancy lights on the door or dash :) I wish Lucid had been clearer about the differences between dynamic and regular lighting. If I had known that the standard ambient lighting wasn't just a color changing thing and literally had fewer...
I'm hoping that I can get mine by August, although there's definitely been no clarity on timelines. I'm not reading into receiving the proforma and vin too much. I'm sad about the HUD and supposedly not having dash/door light strips. But I figured it was probably the fastest way to get a...
