This is just a laughable statistic in eery way. Anyone with any critical thinking can see in a millisecond it makes no sense. Why would sales of a car that has been on the market for a decade increase by 1000% in the last year, and the absolute numbers are equally as ridiculous.

The problem is not production...another quarter of making more cars than they sold. The issue is they can't sell even the cars they make. They better hope the Saudi's keep supporting them or they are in deep trouble.
It's Tesla's world and everyone else is just living in it. It's like they own 60% of the gas stations in the country, and 85% of the reliable ones. If other cars have difficulty on their network, what do they care? It just makes you more likely to buy one of the 20 million cars a year they want...
I was told by my sales rep that this will invalidate your warranty?? he went out of his way (I guess knowing I owned a Tesla) to tell me this information. Not sure how they would know for sure.
Tesla superchargers are the free market solution.
they were incentivized to make the reliable and they are.
Now if VW and other makers want to enter the field and compete...you need reliable network, or you do what Ford just did.
this does not take into account time spent driving to and from the SC. to get off a highway, frequently drive a few miles to get to the charger and back on kills 15 minutes minimum.
if you placed an order doesn't this count as a 2022 order? My deposit is no longer refundable. And yes, the $7500 matters to me. Could I afford it without it? Yes, but increasing the price by 7500 makes a difference and this will kill Lucid, assuming Lucid also meets the other requirements.
